2021
- Achieved USD 2 million in overseas exports for 2020-2021 and built new partnerships

2020
- Applied multi-porous ceramic balls (CPB) for plant cultivation at a Vietnam testbed operated by the Foundation of Agricultural Technology Commercialization and Transfer, under Korea's Rural Development Administration
- Began supplying alkaline mineral balls to Nestlé's alkaline water production plant in France
- Underwent NSF certification process in the USA
2019
- Obtained RoHS certification for antibacterial balls
2018
- Exported alkaline balls (one container) to the largest alkaline bottled water producer in the USA
- Secured exclusive export of various ceramic balls (alkaline reduction ORP balls, alkaline balls, tourmaline balls, magic balls, FIR mineral balls, etc.) to the largest water purifier company in Vietnam (approx. 70 tons)
- Participated in the Kuwaiti government's desert-to-park development project with an exclusive bid (Cell Pore Ball)
2017
- Exported Green Bio water purifiers and various water-purification filters to Singapore, Chile, Italy, Moldova, and Vietnam
2016
- Established Kum Yang Vietnam, a local subsidiary
- Became a Gold Supplier on Alibaba.com
2015
- Exported ceramic balls to the UK, Malaysia, and Canada
- Participated in a construction expo in the Philippines
2014
- Completed a white charcoal (binchotan-style oak charcoal) plant in southern Vietnam and began domestic sales
- Exported automatic and semi-automatic door systems to Vietnam, Singapore, and Egypt
- Participated in international construction expos in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi
2013
- Expanded overseas exports of water purifiers, AHR (alkaline reduction) filters, alkaline filters, water purifier components, alkaline balls, and magnesium balls (Greece, Romania, Poland)
2012
- Expanded overseas exports of water-purification ceramic balls, ORP magnesium balls, antioxidant alkaline filters, and water purifiers (Italy, Germany, UK, Taiwan, Indonesia, Russia, Brazil)
2011
- Exported water purifiers and filters (sediment, pre-carbon, UF membrane, post-carbon, antioxidant alkaline reduction, mineral) and various ceramic balls to the USA, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, and Mexico
2010
- Signed an MOU with the Vietnam branch of Hyundai Corporation for the sale of ceramic balls and water purifiers
- Established a Vietnam branch office (Ho Chi Minh City) and registered as a water purifier manufacturer
- Exported water purifiers, water purifier filters, water softeners, shower heads, and ceramic balls to Vietnam
2009
- Began exporting water-purification ceramic balls to Indonesia
- Built a hwangto ball acupressure path at Gyeongsangnam-do Arboretum (Jinju)
2008
- Built a hwangto ball acupressure park (pocket park) at Seoul Olympic Park
- Built a hwangto ball acupressure path at World Cup Park in Sangam-dong, Seoul (Haneul Park)
- Began exporting deodorizing ceramic ball sets for Samsung Electronics refrigerators to India
- Participated in trade delegations to Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia
2007
- Built a hwangto ball acupressure park at Naju Railway Park, Jeollanam-do
2006
- Exported anion-emitting finishing materials and heat-therapy balls to J&C sauna facilities
- Signed a sales agreement for various functional ceramic balls with Japan's Radies Co., Ltd.
- Supplied Wongiseok Ion Plus powder (KY-1000) to Hanyang Ceramic Co., Ltd. (for Hyundai Development Company apartments)
2005
- Completed development of Wongiseok Ion Plus liquid formulations (KY-3000, single- and two-part types); began sales
- Hwangto balls (Hantorium balls) selected as an outstanding product by Dahn World (Dahnhak Sunwon) nationwide, with an exclusive supply contract
2004
- Completed development of Wongiseok Ion Plus granules (KY-2000) and powder (KY-1000); began production and sales
- Held business consultations and secured orders with a Japanese trade delegation invited by the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency
2003
- Incorporated as Kum Yang Material Co., Ltd., with Park Kwang-jin as founding CEO
2001
- Began operation of the manufacturing line for water-purification and deodorizing ceramic balls
2000
- Secured R&D funding from the Agricultural Technology Center under the Rural Development Administration
- Expanded bioceramic hwangto production facilities through industry-academia R&D
1999
- Secured technology development funding from the Small and Medium Business Administration and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation as a small venture business
1998
- Developed loess (hwangto) room flooring through joint research with Hanwha General Chemical Co., Ltd.
- Began supplying bioceramic hwangto (loess)
1994
- Began operation of an agricultural film production plant
- Produced bioceramic agricultural vinyl film and supplied it nationwide
1987
- Built a kitchenware coating plant and began product manufacturing
1984
- Developed far-infrared-emitting resin panels and filed various related patents
- Developed ceramic fluororesin coatings for kitchenware and supplied them to major manufacturers
1981
- Partnered with Japan's Shoene Giken (Energy-Saving Technology Institute) for technology transfer, carrying out Korea's first R&D on far-infrared-emitting bioceramics
