Made by forming calcium sulfite (CaSO₃, Calcium Sulfite) powder into 2 mm or 3 mm balls.
Municipal water is treated with chlorine for disinfection. However, this leaves residual chlorine that causes an unpleasant odor and can react to form carcinogenic byproducts — this product is designed to remove it.
Vitamin C also reduces and adsorbs chlorine, so coating the Chlorine Removal Ball with vitamin C extends its performance and delivers a more reliable removal effect.
