Features
Bamboo/oak charcoal Charcoal powder is made by firing oak and similar hardwoods at high temperature; it is roughly 85% carbon, with the remainder made up of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and iron. High-quality charcoal uses dense white charcoal fired from dense oak-family wood stacked in a traditional kiln.
Activated carbon Activated carbon is produced from carbon sources such as coconut shell, wood, or bituminous coal, developed through an activation process that further expands its microporous structure. It has an enormous internal surface area of over 1,000 m² per gram, and the functional groups on its carbon atoms attract surrounding liquids and gases, adsorbing target molecules.
Product Lineup
Bamboo Charcoal Ball
Made by high-temperature firing of pure bamboo/oak charcoal blended with ceramic powder. Charcoal has high far-infrared emission and generates trace amounts of anions, making it popular for home use. Depending on the intended function, it is used for deodorizing or water purification.
Low-Temperature Activated Carbon Ball
Made by blending activated carbon powder with 30-70% zeolite-based raw material and firing at a low temperature of 150-180°C. A specially developed binder is added to increase strength. Coated with this special binder, the low-temperature type gradually opens its pores over time, making it ideal for water purifier filters — its performance lasts longer than standard charcoal balls or high-temperature activated carbon. It retains the natural black color of activated carbon.
High-Temperature Activated Carbon Ball
Made by blending activated carbon powder with zeolite-based raw material and firing at a high temperature of about 800-900°C. Since this is not a vacuum firing process, the balls oxidize on contact with air during firing; oxidized balls turn white or ochre in color, though performance is unaffected.
